After a long period when the food left out for them at night remained untouched, the badgers are back. It is very comforting to see them just a few feet away noisily tucking into the peanuts and fatballs I leave out for them.
Hopefully, in a few months they will be bringing their cubs every night for an early dinner. Already they have worn a path from the fence to my back door.
